Choosing a Filament

PLA

By far the most popular and easy to use filament for 3D Printing. Begin learning with PLA and adventure from there!

  • Difficulty to use: Low
  • Strength: High | Flexibility: Low | Durability: Medium
  • Print temperature: 180°C – 230°C
    (Depends on brand)
  • Print bed temperature: 20°C – 60°C

PETG

If you want to print tougher parts PETG has you covered. Little bit more difficult to print with than PLA.

  • Difficulty to use: Low
  • Strength: High | Flexibility: Low | Durability: Medium
  • Print temperature: 180°C – 230°C
    (Depends on brand)
  • Print bed temperature: 20°C – 60°C
